    Baseball Notebook: William and Mary Pitching Edition

    - Get used to seeing freshman lefthander Cole Shain coming out of the bullpen on weekends. Shain has recently become a weekday starter, switching places with sophomore righthander Tim Norton, which will allow him to come on in relief on weekends to face lefthanders, as he did Sunday versus Towson.

    Sources have confirmed to The Flat Hat that the College has received an oral commitment from 6’9” forward Andrew Pavloff. Pavloff, a senior at Walsh Jesuit High School just outside of Akron, Ohio, averaged 13.3 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 3.3 blocks this winter.

    Pavloff will look to fill the void left by graduating center Pete Stein when he arrives on campus this fall.
