The summer of love — and movies

04/25/2008

With the school year merrily on its way out once more, many of us are looking ahead to the summer and asking, “What do I do now?” Thankfully, Hollywood once again has found a plethora of ways for us to spend our time and, more importantly, our dollars, during the warm months. A life of green and gold

04/25/2008

Sam Sadler has spent 44 of the last 48 years at the College, and he cherishes the relationships he has built with students. The kind of rapport he has with students now was uncommon when he came to campus as a student in the fall of 1960.

04/18/2008

Making the campus band

04/15/2008

Fall Blowout, 2006: Campus rock band Tallest Highest opened on the Sunken Garden in 30-degree weather with only a quarter of its members sober, guitarists bundled in gloves and their drummer forced to play what the bandmates could only describe as “a little baby drum set.”

Colonial ghouls, ghosts haunt visitors

04/15/2008

Many students have seen or heard strange things during their time here at the College. Some figure that a town more than 300 years old is bound to have some ghosts.

04/11/2008

As if winning first prize in the Genesis 2008 Art Contest wasn’t challenging enough for Sarah Williams ’10, she won it while adjusting to life at the College as a first-semester transfer student and working backstage on two College theater productions.

Strutting on the cobblestone

04/11/2008

Though the show is called Cobblestone Couture, the audience won’t get to watch the models walk in heels down a runway made of actual cobblestone.
